Our client is an electronics specialist that works on a broad spectrum of projects to design, develop, manufacture, test and implement solutions within a range of industry sectors.
With growing global success, including current projects in Atlanta and Thailand, they are now looking for a number of Electronics Engineers with varying levels of experience to work out of their facility in Lisburn.
You’ll discover a market-leading environment and an exciting customer base which includes some well-known brands as well as some highly innovative technologies.
What’s more, you’ll have the chance to increase your customer-facing experience while communicating with customers via Skype, email or in person regarding project design and progress.
As an Electronics Engineer, you will be carrying out a range of PCB research, design and development projects to produce new and highly functional products for customers.
Specifically, you will focus on the design side but will also take part in testing verification and debugging activities.
You’ll hit the ground running, get involved in technical research and technology prospecting, brainstorm new ideas and create PCB layouts and designs.
Your role will also involve:
– Specifying and designing firmware, software and hardware
– Managing the design process and creating associated documents
– Preparing proposals and reports
– Evaluating and verifying technologies
– Operating to regulatory standards

– Experience gained in the electronics field with embedded hardware and software design and verification (this can be obtained from a university placement)
– A high level of technical knowledge and IT skills
– An understanding of electrical health and safety legislation and regulatory requirements
– A degree (or equivalent) in Electronic Engineering
Analytical and solution-oriented, as an Electronics Engineer, you also need strong communication skills alongside the capability to translate complex ideas into clear concepts.
